Terrell Trails Hardcopy Publication Terminated

I announced my intention to retire as editor, publisher, and mailer of Terrell Trails in 2008.  I set winter 2010 as my last issue.  That issue mailed Dec. 2010.  No one has volunteered to continue that task.  Therefore, we are no longer publishing and mailing hard copies of Terrell Trails.

My reason for resigning, as most of our members know, is health.  I have an aneurism that may end my life at any moment.  At the present, my physicians say the probability of my demise within the next year is less than the risk of any surgery they could do to correct it.  I suppose that can be construed as “good news” if you use the term loosely.J

In 26 years, I edited, published, and mailed 2422 pages ofTERRELL information.  Our charter required that we publish a minimum of 6 pages per issue.  Thanks to the generous support of our faithful members we exceeded our mandated minimum of 624 pages for the 26 years by 1798 pages.

If I do anything to continue the dissemination of TERRELL information, it will be via this web site.  The amount will depend upon my health.  I would like to see as much as possible of the past issues of Terrell Trails posted on this site for all to enjoy.  If I feel up to it, I may do more issues and merely post them on this site.

LENDING LIBRARY CONTINUES

I still have the volumes of our LENDING LIBRARY.  I will continue to accept orders from both members and non-members alike.  I have just reworked the ORDER FORM and I hope it will show up with black text on your browser.

However, due to the uncertainty of the length of time I will be able to continue that, I strongly suggest that you order whatever you want as soon as it is practical for you to do so.
